Rear speakers, Remove the rear speakers and cables

Rear speakers NOTE: The rear speakers are included in the Speaker Kit, spare part number 665610-001. Before removing the rear speakers, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 47), and then remove the following components: ● Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 48) ● Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 51) ● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 56) ● Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 59) ● Top cover (see Top cover on page 62) ● System board (see System board on page 81) Remove the rear speakers and cables: 1. Close the computer. 2. Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you. 3. Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws (1) and the three Phillips PM2.5×3.0 screws (2) that secure the rear speakers to the computer. 4. Rear speakers
NOTE:
The rear speakers are included in the Speaker Kit, spare part number 665610-001.
Before removing the rear speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the rear speakers and cables:
1.
Close the computer.
2.
Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
3.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws
(1)
and the three Phillips PM2.5×3.0 screws
(2)
that
secure the rear speakers to the computer.
4.
Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you.
