Bluetooth module NOTE: The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 639473-001. See Cable Kit on page 32 for more Cable Kit spare part number information. Description Bluetooth module Spare part number 537921-001 Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50). 5. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 51). Remove the Bluetooth module: 1. Position the computer upside-down, with the front toward you. 2. Remove the Bluetooth module by lifting it straight up and out of the compartment (1) as far as the cable allows. 3. Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable (2) from the Bluetooth module. 62 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet,
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see
Battery
on page
50
).
5.
Remove the bottom cover (see
Bottom cover
on page
51
).
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Position the computer upside-down, with the front toward you.
2.
Remove the Bluetooth module by lifting it straight up and out of the compartment
(1)
as far as the
cable allows.
3.
Disconnect the Bluetooth module cable
(2)
from the Bluetooth module.
