Display assembly All display assemblies include 2 WLAN antenna transceivers and cables, and 2 WWAN antenna transceivers and cables (select models only). Description Spare part number 33.8-cm (13.3-in) HD AntiGlare LED SVA (1366x768) for use in computers without a webcam 650164-001 33.8-cm (13.3-in) HD AntiGlare LED SVA (1366x768) for use in computers with a WWAN module 650165-001 and without a webcam 33.8-cm (13.3-in) HD AntiGlare LED SVA (1366x768) for use in computers with a webcam 650166-001 33.8-cm (13.3-in) LED, FHD for use in computers with a webcam 650167-001 Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 50). 5. Disconnect the wireless antenna cables from the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 52) and the WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 69). 6. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 66). 7. Remove the base enclosure cover (see Base enclosure cover on page 82). Remove the display assembly: 1. Position the computer right-side up, with the front toward you. 2. Disconnect the display panel cable (1) from the system board (2). Component replacement procedures 89
