Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-21 Processor with Heatsink To remove a processor with heatsink: CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage electronic components. Be sure that you are properly grounded (earthed) before beginning any installation procedure. See "Electrostatic Discharge Information" earlier in this chapter for more information. WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the internal system components to cool before touching them. 1. Complete the preparation procedures. See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the front bezel. See "Front Bezel" earlier in this chapter. 3. Remove the access panel. See "Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. 4.
