Removal and Replacement Procedures 2-25 Removing a Memory Module To remove a memory module: 1. Complete the preparation procedures. See "Preparation Procedures" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the front bezel. See "Front Bezel" earlier in this chapter. 3. Remove the access panel. See "Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. 4. Press outward on both latches of the memory module socket at the same time . This step releases the DIMM and pushes it partially out of the socket. 5.
