HDMI board Description HDMI board Spare part number 732287-001 Before removing the HDMI board, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard dock (see Releasing the tablet from the keyboard dock on page 32). 5. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 33. 6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37. 7. Remove the hinge assembly (see Hinge assembly on page 36. To remove the HDMI board: 1. Disconnect the top ribbon cable (1) from the board. 2. Disconnect the power cable (2) from the board. 3. Rotate the left side of the board up to remove it (3) from the dock. Reverse this procedure to install the HDMI board. Dock components 39

Before removing the HDMI board, follow these steps:
1.

To remove the HDMI board:
1.
Disconnect the top ribbon cable
(1)
from the board.
2.
Disconnect the power cable
(2)
from the board.
3.
Rotate the left side of the board up to remove it
(3)
from the dock.
Reverse this procedure to install the HDMI board.
