Table 4-2 identifies the major components of the Smart Array 6402 controller card.
NOTE
If an HP 9000 rp3440 server is ordered from the factory along with an internal RAID option
(with the HP Smart Array controller card and SCSI cable A7231-63024 pre-installed), this
SCSI cable connects the hot plug drives 0 and 1 to PORT 1 of the HP Smart Array controller
card installed in PCI slot 3. The additional cable (A7231-63025) is placed in the server top tray.
The internal hot plug drive 2 is still connected to the integrated SCSI controller.
