LBA Low LBA High/Low H This indicates the sector number of the transferred sector. (L = 0) In LBA mode, this register contains current LBA bits 0-7. (L = 1) This indicates the cylinder number of the transferred sector. (L = 0) In LBA mode, this register contains current LBA bits 8-15 (Low), 16-23 (High). (L = 1) This indicates the head number of the transferred sector. (L = 0) In LBA mode, this register contains current LBA bits 24-27. (L = 1) The device internally uses 51 bytes of ECC data on all data written or read from the disk. The 4-byte mode of operation is provided by means of an emulation.
