Insignia NS-R5101 5.1 Surround Sound A/V Receiver Connecting a television or monitor To connect a television or monitor: • Connect the television video cable(s). • Connect one end of the video cable(s) to your receiver's video out jack(s). • Connect the other end of the video cable(s) to the television's video in jack(s). Notes • • • When recording video sources through the VIDEO 1 OUT jacks or viewing video sources through the MONITOR OUT jack, you must use the same type of video jacks that you used to connect to the video playback components. If you are using the component video connections, make sure that you are connecting Y to Y, PB/CB to CB, PB, or B-Y and PR/CR to CR, PR, or R-Y. When the video signals are input into the VIDEO IN (composite) and the S-VIDEO IN simultaneously, the On Screen Display menu and the momentary On Screen Display can be displayed using the S-VIDEO MONITOR OUT only. Connecting a television or monitor
To connect a television or monitor:
Connect the television video cable(s).
Connect one end of the video cable(s) to
your receiver’s video out jack(s).
Connect the other end of the video
cable(s) to the television’s video in jack(s).
Notes
When recording video sources through the
VIDEO 1 OUT jacks or viewing video sources
through the MONITOR OUT jack, you must use
