Chapter 6 - Maintain the Printer 4 Press down on the blue part of the printhead balance bar and move it: • outward for wider media. • inward for narrower media. 5 Close the printhead and load the ribbon. 6 Test and readjust the printhead balance if necessary. 7 Close the media cover. Adjust the Printhead Pressure You may need to adjust the printhead pressure on the printer if: • you are using thicker or thinner media than previously. • your labels are printing ligher on one side than the other. • your thermal transfer ribbon starts to crease. Press down on the blue part of the printhead balance bar and move
it:
•
outward for wider media.
•
inward for narrower media.

Close the printhead and load the ribbon.

Test and readjust the printhead balance if necessary.

Close the media cover.
