Reference English Using the AV COMPU LINK function When a JVC-manufactured TV with AV COMPU LINK II or III terminals is connected to the main unit using these terminals, operating either the TV or the main unit controls the other device at the same time. Preparation for the AV COMPU LINK function NOTE • Some JVC-manufactured TVs have terminals labeled "AV COMPU LINK". These terminals are no different from the [AV COMPU LINK-III] terminal on the main unit of this system or, the "AV COMPU LINK I/II" or "AV COMPU LINK" terminal on other JVC-manufactured systems. • Refer to "OTHERS" on page 39 for determining the "AV COMPULINK MODE" setting. • Also refer to the manual of the TV to be connected to the main unit. JVC-manufactured TV Main unit (rear view) Operating the AV COMPU LINK function 1 Turn on the main power of the TV. 2 Play back a disc/file. • Refer to pages 22 - 24. • The power of the TV is turned on. • The input mode on the TV changes to the video 1, video 2 or video 3 (DVD) input. NOTE • You can use this function only when "NO HDMI" is selected for the monitor out type. (Refer to page 13.) When a JVC-manufactured TV with AV COMPU
LINK II or III terminals is connected to the main
unit using these terminals, operating either the TV
or the main unit controls the other device at the
same time.
NOTE
Some JVC-manufactured TVs have terminals
labeled “AV COMPU LINK”. These terminals are
no different from the [AV COMPU LINK-III] termi-
nal on the main unit of this system or, the “AV
COMPU LINK I/II” or “AV COMPU LINK” termi-
nal on other JVC-manufactured systems.
Refer to “OTHERS” on page 39 for determining
the “AV COMPULINK MODE” setting.
Also refer to the manual of the TV to be con-
nected to the main unit.
The AV COMPU LINK function may not work for
some TVs when the main unit is connected to
the video 2 or video 3 terminal on the TV.

Turn on the main power of the TV.

Play back a disc/file.
