2-9 Indication in Viewfinder (Cont'd) Ⅲ Safety Zone Three types of safety zone items can be displayed in the viewfinder. Select the required one with the SAFETY ZONE item on the VF DISPLAY menu screen. The CENTER MARK item can be used to select whether the safety zone center mark indicator should be displayed or not (ON/OFF). OFF NORMAL ( ) Indicates 93% of the image frame area. 14:9 ( ) Indicates the 14:9 frame area. 4:3 ( ) Indicates the 4:3 frame area when the 16:9 aspect ratio is selected. Ⅲ Auto White Balance Display This screen appears during the auto white balance adjustment operation to display various data. See "White Balance Adjustment" on page 45. A U T O WH I T E A OP ERA T I ON Ⅲ Shutter Speed Display SHUT TER 1 / 1 0 0 0 When the SHUTTER dial is pressed, a shutter speed is displayed (for approx. 5 sec.). In addition, whenever the shutter speed is altered by using the SHUTTER dial, the shutter speed is displayed. While this display is shown, other displays disappear. See "SHUTTER dial" on page 12. 29
