Symptom The camera [STATUS] indicator lamp is flashing. When the lamp flashes orange twice and then goes out for one second: The camera [STATUS] indicator lamp is flashing. When the lamp flashes orange three times and then goes out for one second: The camera [STATUS] indicator lamp is flashing. When the lamp flashes alternately between green and orange: The camera [STATUS] indicator lamp is flashing. When the lamp flashes alternately between green and orange and the lamp is lit up in orange for a longer period of time than in green: Possible Causes and Actions Taken ● The inserted SD card has not been formatted. Format the card from the [SD Card Record] page. ● The inserted SD card switch is locked and the SD card cannot be recorded on. After cutting power to the camera, remove the SD card, undo the lock, and reinsert the card. ● The camera is set to record on an SD card, but an SD card has not been inserted. After cutting power to the camera, insert an SD card that can be recorded to. ● Set the SD card to [Disabled] on the [SD Card Record] page in order not to use the SD card recording function. The [STATUS] indicator lamp will return to glowing solid green. ● A problem has occurred with the SD card in use. Replace the SD card. ● Set the SD card to [Disabled] on the [SD Card Record] page in order not to use the SD card recording function. The [STATUS] indicator lamp will return to glowing solid green. ● This occurs when the camera has entered Focus Assist mode. Once the focus adjustment is finished, press [FOCUS ASSIST] on the camera to release the Focus Assist mode.
