When you use the [Privacy Mask] page, turn the Built-in Viewer and another client Off. For stopping the Built-in Viewer, see "Exiting the Built-in Viewer". (A Page 123) ● If the [OK] button is pressed upon entering an invalid value, a warning message will appear and the entry will be denied. Press the [Cancel] button to restore the invalid entry to the value before the change was made. If you press the [Cancel] button, other changed items will also be restored to the values before the change was made. ● The privacy mask that you set also works for the monitor output. Note: ● Masks cannot be set in a zoomed screen. ● When you open the Privacy Mask settings page, the camera zoom is released. The size of the mask you have set changes when you zoom. You can specify the positions to be masked in each block. Turns the Privacy Mask function ON or OFF. [Set values: ON, OFF] Sets a brightness of Privacy Mask areas. When a large value is set, the brightness level increases (becomes white). When a small value is set, the brightness level decreases (becomes dark). This setting is common to all blocks. [Set values: 0 to 4 to 8] Enables all the privacy masks. Press the [OK] button to enable this setting. Releases all the privacy masks. * The [Set values] in bold letters are factory defaults. 56
