[Set values: ON, OFF] There are restrictions on the encoder settings which can be set to [ON]. To output to a monitor, select "single encode" and set Framerate using one of the following. 1920x1080 5 fps or below 1280x960 or 1280x720 15 fps or below 640x480, 640x360 or 320x240 30 fps or below Memo: ● Images that are in the aspect ratio of 16:9 are compressed horizontally to 4:3 when output. When an aspect ratio of 4:3 is selected, the distributed image is 4:3, but the image output to the monitor is the same as that of when aspect ratio 16:9 is selected. Monitor Output (for Installation) mode To adjust angle of view and check focus when setting up the camera, press and hold the [FOCUS ASSIST] button to output the video image from the monitor output terminal. The image will be output even if [Monitor Output] is set to [OFF] in encode settings. In Monitor Output (for Installation) mode, vertical gray lines are inserted on either side of the image. This is to indicate the area to be captured in aspect ratio 4:3 and is not a malfunction. Procedure Press and hold the [FOCUS ASSIST] button on the camera for 5 or more seconds. The camera [STATUS] indicator lamp will alternately flash between orange and green. (The amount of time the lamp is lit up in orange is twice as long as when it is lit up in green.) At the same time, the camera enters focus assist mode. Connect the signal from the monitor output terminal to the monitor and perform adjustment of the view angle and focus. Once manual adjustment is finished, press and hold the [FOCUS ASSIST] button for 5 or more seconds to release Monitor Output (for Installation) mode. Check that the [Status] indicator lamp is glowing green. Memo: ● Release Monitor Output (for Installation) mode before adjusting the autofocus. ● When in Monitor Output (for Installation) mode, the [Encoding] page continues to show [Monitor Output] as set to [OFF]. ● When changing the encode settings, be sure to press and hold the [FOCUS ASSIST] button for 5 or more seconds to release the monitor output mode. ● The aspect ratio 16:9 capture area is output in Monitor Output. Change monitor output settings.

There are restrictions on the encoder settings which can be set to [ON].

Memo:
Images that are in the aspect ratio of 16:9 are compressed

selected, the distributed image is 4:3, but the image output to the
monitor is the same as that of when aspect ratio 16:9 is selected.
