Entering and Editing Information Entering and Editing Information Text Input You can input and edit text for your Banner, Calendar, Contacts, Alarm Clock, Notepad, and Messages. When entering text, several functions are available. Key Functions Left Soft Key: Press to select a Text Input mode: - T9Word (T9WORD/ T9Word/ T9word) - Abc (ABC/Abc/abc) - 123 - Symbols Shift: Press to change text entry capitalization modes: - T9Word: T9Word -> T9WORD -> T9word - Abc: Abc -> ABC -> abc Next: In T9 mode, press to display other matching words. Space: Press to complete a word if the entry mode is set to T9 mode or to insert a space. Clear: Press to delete a single space or character. Hold to delete the whole message. Punctuation: While entering text, press to insert punctuation in a word and complete a sentence. 25
