Configuring the 2big Network on a LAN Without a DHCP Server In the case that your server is not DHCP-enabled, you will need to manually assign the correct network settings for your LaCie 2big Network. ■ 2.5.1. Configure with LaCie Ethernet Agent (Windows) The easiest way to modify your LaCie 2big Network's network configuration on a PC is to use the LaCie Ethernet Agent. See section 2.3, Connecting with LaCie Ethernet Agent for information on installing the network configuration software. 1. Start LaCie Ethernet Agent (see section 2.3, Connecting with LaCie Ethernet Agent). 2. Click on the Ethernet Agent icon in the system tray and select Advanced > Configuration (Fig. 2.5.1-A). The Ethernet Agent Configuration window (Fig. 2.5.1-B) opens. 3. Uncheck the "DHCP" box. 4. Modify the network settings to work with your network. 5. Click Apply. Fig. 2.5.1-A Fig. 2.5.1-B
