System In addition to the Configuration page, which is the main System page, the System menu has four sub-sections: Network, Disk, Status and Maintenance, each accessible from the navigation bar when you click System (Fig. 3.7). Administration page 36 ■ 3.7.1. Configuration Click on the System link in the navigation bar to open the Configuration page. This page displays basic information about the 2big Network including the Machine name, the Windows workgoup, time zone and date and time. To change the machine name, highlight the machine name ("LaCie-Network" by default), delete it and enter a new name. Click Apply. important info: The machine name can only contain the following characters 'a-z', 'A-Z', '0-9', '-' and must begin with a letter. 3.7. System
In addition to the Configuration page, which is the
main System page, the System menu has four sub-sec-

cessible from the navigation bar when you click

To change the machine name,
highlight the
machine name (“LaCie-Network” by default), delete it
and enter a new name. Click

IMPORTANT INFO:
