Clean any dirt off the exposed surface of the LED printhead. Also check the locating pins of the printhead. Be sure the transfer belt is clean and not damaged. Replace parts as necessary. Be sure the top cover is fully locked. Action Check for dirt or damage to the fuser rolls or the oil coating roller (OCR). Check for scratches on the surface and replace if necessary. Be sure the transfer belt is clean and not damaged. Replace parts as necessary. Action Firmly install the photodeveloper and the toner cartridge into the printer. Check the transfer belt unit for scratches or nicks. Be sure there is no toner buildup on the belt. Replace the belt unit if it is damaged. Diagnostic information 2-97
