GETTING STARTED (CONTINUED) LOADING THE BATTERIES 1 2 - + Remove Compartment cover. Loosen the screw using a Phillips head screwdriver and lift off the Battery Compartment cover. Insert an AAA battery into the Battery Compartment, observing the polarity marks (+/-) as shown. Place the Battery Compartment cover back on and replace the screw. IMPORTANT! When the battery is empty or absent, the pictures/videos will be erased. Make sure to backup onto a computer regularly. BATTERY PRECAUTIONS Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device: 1. Use only the size and type of battery specified. 2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device. 3. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent damage or injury from possible battery leakage. 4. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's directions.) 6
