108 Operation Resetting Your Password If you forget your DVD parental control password, you can reset the password. The DCP501 should not be in any DCP501 setup mode when performing this operation including: Main Setup DVD Setup Banner Display Program Edit To reset your DVD parental control password: On the DCP501 front panel only, press SETUP + CURSOR ( >) at the same time to clear the old password. The DCP501 display clears indicating that your action was successful. Switch off the DCP501 and switch it back on using the POWER button. You can then return to the DVD Setup password entry screen to enter a new password. Steps for resetting your password operate only if a password was previously entered. DCP501 User Guide

Resetting Your Password
If you forget your DVD parental control password, you can reset the password. The DCP501
should not
be in any DCP501 setup mode when performing this operation including:

On the DCP501 front panel only, press
