The Shooting Menu (A (Auto) Mode) Number of Exposures Remaining The following table lists the approximate number of images that can be saved on a 4 GB memory card. Note that due to JPEG compression, there is a significant difference in the number of images that can be actually saved depending on the composition of the image, even when the memory cards have the same capacity and the image mode is the same. In addition, the number of images that can be saved may differ depending on the make of the memory card.
