Speedlight Cntrl This option is used to control the built-in and optional Speedlights when using optional flash accessories mounted on the camera's accessory shoe. Option Auto Internal off Description Optional Speedlight fires, if attached. If not, built-in Speedlight fires instead. Built-in Speedlight turns off. SPEEDLIGHT CNTRL Auto Internal off The Shooting Menu Flash Mode Indicators for Optional Speedlights When Internal off or Auto is selected for Speedlight cntrl and an optional Speedlight is mounted on the camera, flash mode is indicated as shown below. Note that the camera will be unable to set flash output correctly if the flash-ready lamp on the optional Speedlight is off. Be sure the flash ready lamp is on before taking a picture.
