Voice Memos: Recording and Playback Brief voice memos can be added to pictures displayed in full-frame playback ( 65). Voice memos can not be added to movies. Memos are stored on the memory card as WAV-format sound files. During playback, the presence of a memo is indicated by a icon. 19" To Record memo Play memo Pause / resume playback Raise volume Lower volume Delete picture or voice memo Press Description Memo of up 20 s can be recorded while button is pressed. Recording ends after about 20 s or when button is released. If icon appears in file information display during playback, memo can be played back over speaker by pressing button. Playback ends when entire recording has been played back or button is pressed a second time. Press center of multi selector to pause playback. Press again to resume. ( ) Volume indicator displayed in monitor when zoom buttons are pressed. Four levels are available: high ( ), medium ( ) ( ), low ( ), and mute ( ). Confirmation dialog will be displayed.
