More About Playback Taking a Closer Look: Playback Zoom Press the button to zoom in on the image displayed in single-image playback or on the image currently highlighted in thumbnail playback. The following operations can be performed while zoom is in effect: TToo Cancel/ resume zoom Select area displayed Press and/or rotate Description Press to cancel zoom and return to single-im- () age or thumbnail playback. Press again to zoom image in. Press button to display frame showing area currently zoomed in. While but- ton is pressed, multi selector can be used to move frame and main command dial can be used to control size of frame (rotate dial counterclockwise to zoom out, clockwise to zoom in). Release button to magnify selected area to fill monitor. View other images Rotate main command dial to view same area of other images at current zoom ratio. View other areas of image Use multi selector to view area not visible in monitor. Hold multi selector down to scroll rapidly to other areas of frame. f1-Center Button > Playback Mode ( 198) Instead of toggling between full-frame and thumbnail playback, the center of the multi selector can be used to toggle playback zoom or display a histogram. 136
