Menu Guide-Custom Settings Exposure mode Highlight b5 Exposure comp. in the second level of the CSM menu ( 171) and press the multi selector to the right. Press the multi selector up or down to highlight an option, then press to the right to make a selection. Custom Setting f5 CMD Dial only Off P Sub-command dial On Sub-command dial S Sub-command dial Main command dial A Main command dial Sub-command dial M N/A Custom Setting b6: Center Weight When calculating exposure, center-weighted me- CSM MENU tering assigns the greatest weight to a circle in b6 Center weight area the center of the frame. The diameter (φ) of this 6 ø 6mm circle can be selected from 6, 8, 10, and 13 mm 8 ø 8mm OK (the default option is 8 mm). Highlight b6 Center weight in the second level of the CSM menu ( 10 ø10mm 13 ø13mm Average 171) and press the multi selector to the right. Press the multi selector up or down to highlight an option, then press to the right to make a selec- tion. Non-CPU Lenses The option chosen for Custom Setting b6 applies only to CPU lenses. When a non-CPU lens is attached, the size of the area assigned the greatest weight in center-weighted metering is 8 mm, regardless of the option selected for Custom Setting b6 or for the Non-CPU lens data option in the shooting menu. 185
