(Can only be used with exposure mode set to Manual) The camera's exposure meter cannot be used. Set and confirm the aperture using the lens aperture ring. Camera settings 1 Set the aperture. -The method for setting the aperture differs, depending on the lens in use and the selected exposure mode. (See page 29 on Confirming flash shooting distance range in TTL Auto Flash t Mode.) 2 Set the flash sync mode. -Set the camera's flash sync mode (if available) to front-curtain sync (Normal). 31
