Automatic Dialing Storing names and telephone numbers into one-touch dial! For rapid access to frequently dialed numbers, the unit provides 10 entries for one-touch dial. q Stations 1 to 3 can be used alternatively as broadcast keys (p. 31). 1 Press DE. Display: PRESS STATION / OR USE JOG-DIAL Station keys / 2 For stations 1-3: Press one of the station keys. DIAL MODE $ Press w to go to the next prompt. For stations 4-5: Press one of the station keys. FLASH (Hyphen) LOWER SET DIRECTORY PROGRAM For stations 6-10: Press o, then press one of the station keys. STOP (Delete) 3 Enter the name, up to 10 characters (see page 17 for instructions). Example: 4 Press w. Example: NAME=John = 5 Enter the telephone number, up to 30 digits, using the dial keypad. Helpful hint: q You can confirm the stored entries on the display (p. 23) or on the telephone number list (p. 71). Note: q A hyphen or a space entered in a telephone number counts as two digits. Example: =1114497 q If you want to enter a hyphen, press k (Hyphen). 6 Press w. REGISTERED ! PRESS STATION / OR USE JOG-DIAL q To program other entries, repeat steps 2 to 6. 7 Press { to exit the program. q If you press DE instead of {, you can print the one- touch label card (see right). To correct a mistake q Press ) or ( to move the cursor to the incorrect character/number, and then make the correction. To delete a character/number q Move the cursor to the character/number you want to delete, and press { (Delete). To print the one-touch label card with stored names Press DE in step 7.
