Taking Pictures 1 2, 3 E b c R d F G D C Setting the Exposure (EV Compensation) You can adjust the overall brightness of the picture. Use this function to take pictures that are intentionally overexposed or 4 underexposed. 1 Press the front lever to the right or 38 left in Capture mode. You can change the EV setting. To brighten, select a positive (+) value. To darken, select a negative (-) value. You can choose the EV setting in the range 1/25 F4.6 of -2.0 EV to +2.0 EV in 1/3 EV steps. +1.0 09/25/2004 14:25 2 Press the shutter release button EV Compensation halfway.
