Making Settings with the Setup Navigator BASIC OPERATION The "Setup Navigator" is a function for automatically making the player's settings by answering questions about the disc language and the components connected to the player. The settings made with the Setup Navigator are as follows: • Language • Connections with the TV (TV type) • Connections with the amplifier (digital jack, amplifier's 96 kHz compatibility) Starting the Setup Navigator Main unit Remote control unit 1 In the stop mode, press the SETUP button, then select "Setup Navigator" under the 2 "General" tab. • For operating instructions, refer to "Setup 1, 2 Screen Operations" on pages 57 to 61. • The Setup Navigator screen is displayed automatically. 1 • When "Not Used" is selected, the Setup Navigator screen will no longer appear when the SETUP button is pressed. Making Settings with the Setup Navigator
The “Setup Navigator” is a function for automatically making the player’s settings by
answering questions about the disc language and the components connected to the player.
The settings made with the Setup Navigator are as follows:
• Language • Connections with the TV (TV type) • Connections with the amplifier
(digital jack, amplifier’s 96 kHz compatibility)
Starting the Setup Navigator
Main unit
Remote control unit
Hint:
• The

mark indicates information.
Brief
descriptions are provided after the

mark.
Refer to these descriptions if you
have any questions about the settings.
• Press the
RETURN
button to return to the
setup screen.
When this is done, any
new settings made on the current setting
screen are canceled.
Note:
This function cannot be started during
playback.
