Dolby Digital:
Select this when the amplifier
or decoder connected to the player is
compatible with Dolby Digital signals.
Dolby Digital/DTS:
Select this when the
amplifier or decoder connected to the player is
compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS signals.
Dolby Digital/MPEG:
Select this when the
amplifier or decoder connected to the player is
compatible with Dolby Digital and MPEG
signals.
Dolby D/DTS/MPEG:
Select this when the
amplifier or decoder connected to the player is
compatible with Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG
signals.
PCM:
Select this when the amplifier
connected to the player is a stereo amplifier or
a Dolby Pro-Logic compatible amplifier.
Not connected:
Select this when no amplifier
is connected or when
you do not know
the
type of the connected amplifier.
When this is
selected, there is no need to make the
“Amplifier’s 96 kHz Compatibility” setting, so
proceed to “Quitting the Setup Navigator”
(page 47).
