Making Settings with the Setup Navigator English BASIC OPERATION Setting the type of amplifier to be connected (digital jack) Here set the type of digital signal the amplifier connected to the player's digital output jack is compatible with. Cursor buttons Audio1 2 Video Language General Other Setup Navigator Amp Connection Digital Jacks Dolby Digital Dolby Digital/DTS Dolby Digital/MPEG Dolby D/DTS/MPEG PCM Not Connected i Compatible with Dolby Digital Move ENTER Select SETUP Exit Remote control unit ENTER Cursor buttons 4 ¢ 13¡ e 8 E7 • Dolby Digital: Select this when the amplifier or decoder connected to the player is compatible with Dolby Digital signals. • Dolby Digital/DTS: Select this when the amplifier or decoder connected to the player is compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS signals. • Dolby Digital/MPEG: Select this when the amplifier or decoder connected to the player is compatible with Dolby Digital and MPEG signals. • Dolby D/DTS/MPEG: Select this when the amplifier or decoder connected to the player is compatible with Dolby Digital, DTS and MPEG signals. • PCM: Select this when the amplifier connected to the player is a stereo amplifier or a Dolby Pro-Logic compatible amplifier. • Not connected: Select this when no amplifier is connected or when you do not know the type of the connected amplifier. When this is selected, there is no need to make the "Amplifier's 96 kHz Compatibility" setting, so proceed to "Quitting the Setup Navigator" 45 (page 47). En
