ENERGY SAVE SET S E T : STANDARD MENU E X I T The factory default setting is [STANDARD]. Each time the 2/3 buttons is pressed, the setting changes as follows: 3 STANDARD 2 3 MODE3 2 3 MODE2 2 3 MODE1 2 ÷ STANDARD ... Brightness is controlled in accordance with input signal to produce bright, easily viewed image. ÷ MODE1 ......... Brightness is controlled in accordance with input signal, but power consumption is less than that used in [STANDARD] mode. ÷ MODE2 ......... Brightness is controlled in accordance with input signal, but power consumption is less than that used in [MODE1]. ÷ MODE3 ......... Brightness is set at fixed level, regardless of input signal level. Effective at reducing screen aging due to burned lag images, etc. 5 Press the SET button. [ENERGY SAVE] is set, and you return to the display shown in step 3. 6 After completing settings, press the MENU button to return to the normal display. Note The [ENERGY SAVE] setting affects all input sources. Automatic Power-off (POWER MANAGEMENT) The unit is equipped with [POWER MANAGEMENT] and [AUTO POWER OFF] functions; when set, the function automatically switches the unit to either standby mode or power off mode whenever a sync signal is not detected (a warning message is displayed on the screen before the functions operate). Notes ÷ Power Management function setting is only effective D-SUB is selected with [INPUT1 SELECT], and there is PC signal input via INPUT1. ÷ Setting the Auto Power Off function is only effective in cases other than the above. ÷ Always turn off the unit's main power switch when not using the display for extended periods of time.
