Notes for Users These notes explain additional information for Hardware Guide. Read the following in conjunction with the manual. Hardware Guide > Installing the Toner (Print Cartridge) > Step 2 Use the following procedure to install the toner supplied with this printer. During machine use, a message indicating there is no toner remaining might appear even when there is toner remaining. If it does, remove the toner bottle and reinstall it. The following procedure covers both installation and reinstallation of the toner bottle. Take the toner bottle out of its box, hold the bottle cap-upward, and then shake the toner bottle up and down seven or eight times. When holding or shaking the toner bottle, take care to hold the actual bottle, not the bottle's cover.Even distribution of toner within the bottle improves print quality. BYK111 While holding the toner bottle so that its label is facing downward, tap the cap end of the toner bottle seven or eight times against the palm of your hand. Do not touch the toner opening (opposite side to the label). Doing so will result in toner leakage.
