Camera Shortcuts: Shortcut keys allow you to change some settings using the keypad, Navigation keys, and Volume key while in capture mode. Note: These button functions also apply to the camera feature if it is accessed via Menu (LSK) ➔ Media ➔ Photos ➔ Camera. takes the photograph. Navigation Up and Down navigation keys adjust the image Keys brightness. Left and Right navigation keys zoom in and out. Optical Scroll Up and Down to adjust the image brightness. Joystick Scroll Left and Right to zoom in and out. Allows you to switch between Camera and Camcorder modes toggles through the shooting modes. cycles among the various timer modes (Off, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, or 10 seconds). changes the viewfinder mode. 104 Configuring Camera Options ᮣ Before taking a photo, press Menu (LSK) to access the following: • Camera: allows you to take a picture. • Shooting Mode: takes a photo in various modes. Once you change the mode, the corresponding indicator displays at the top left of the display. - Single: takes a single photo and allows you view it before returning to the shooting mode. - Continuous: takes a succession of photos. - Panorama: takes multiple photos to be combined into a single panoramic image. - Smile shot: focuses on the foreground or subject and not on the background. - Mosaic: takes up to four photos and then groups them together into a single final photo. • Night mode: select On (allows for better pictures in low light conditions) or Off. • Size: allows you to set the image size to either: 2M (1600x1200), 1.3M (1280x960), 0.3M (640x480), or 320x240. • White balance: allows you to set this option from the following choices: Auto, Daylight, Incandescent, Fluorescent, or Cloudy. • Exposure meter: choose how the camera measures the light source: Matrix, Center-weighted or Spot.
