Reset HD DVR There are two ways to reset the HD DVR: ❏ Pull the AC power cable, or ❏ Simultaneously press and hold EXIT and TV GUIDE buttons on the front panel for 10 seconds. HD DVR does not respond Check that the AC power cord is plugged in to an AC power outlet. to commands High temperature may cause the HD DVR to automatically power off as a protective measure: ❏ Check that adequate ventilation space is available around the HD DVR and that it is not near a heat source. ❏ Check to see if ventilation vents are blocked, clear the vents. ❏ Unplug the unit, move it to a cooler location, let it cool for a while and then re-plug the unit.
