Symptom The power cannot be turned on. The power turns off suddenly. Cause Solution • The batteries are not installed properly. p Properly install the batteries (page 12). • The AC Adaptor (not supplied) is disconnected. p Connect it securely to your camera (page 15). • The batteries are discharged. p Install charged batteries or replace with new ones (pages 11, 12). • The batteries are dead (page 113). p Replace the batteries with new ones. • If you do not operate the camera for about three minutes while the power is on, the camera turns off automatically to prevent wearing down the battery (page 16). • The batteries are discharged. p Turn on the camera again (page 16). p Install charged batteries or replace with new ones (pages 11, 12).
