You can also select those display locations by opening or closing the LCD screen.  FINDER/LCD enables you to use the viewfinder without closing the LCD panel, so you can operate buttons which are hidden when the LCD screen is closed.  You can adjust the brightness of the LCD screen with [LCD Brightness ] (p. 85). Open the LCD panel 90 degrees to the camcorder (

Tips
Images are displayed on the viewfinder or the LCD screen.
Press FINDER/LCD to select whether you want to display the image on the viewfinder or the LCD
screen.
You can also select those display locations by opening or closing the LCD screen.
FINDER/LCD enables you to use the viewfinder without closing the LCD panel, so you can operate

Recording: Detailed display

minimum display
Playing: Detailed display
