About using your set-top box with the Media Center remote control If you use a set-top box with your cable or satellite TV signal, then you must make sure that the Media C enter remote can control it. You need the following materials:  The set-top box and the remote you use to control it*  The Media C enter remote control  Remote sensor  IR control cable For information about your particular configuration and to make sure that your devices are connected correctly, refer to your hardware documentation. * You need to use a set-top box only if your TV signal provider requires it. © 2000-2003 Microsoft C orporation.
