Selecting and playing a program You can automatically locate and start playback of a program recorded on the SmartFile tape. Select a program in the SmartFile search list. The SmartFile search list can contain up to 12 programs. Before you start... • Turn on your TV and set it to the video channel. SMARTFILE M/m OK 1 Insert a SmartFile tape. The VCR turns on and the SMARTFILE indicator lights up. 2 Press SMARTFILE. The SmartFile search list appears on the TV screen.
