Wait about one hour to let the components cool down before you attempt to remove the panel. 1 Shut down the computer and turn off all peripheral devices, such as a printer. 2 Unplug the computer and disconnect any peripheral devices. 3 Push the button (1) to open the hard disk cover, remove the cover, and set it aside.
