Chapter 6: Basic features Using the 3D glasses Each part's name and function: Lens (liquid-crystal shutter) A right and left liquidcrystal shutter opens and closes alternately with the images for the left eye and for the right eye alternately projected on the television screen. In this way, 3D images are reproduced. Power switch and power light Turns on or off the power of 3D glasses with the switch. - When working, the power light blinks once every 2 seconds. - When the power is turned off, the power light goes out. Power switch ON OFF Power light Protective films Peel these off before beginning use. Infrared reception part Receives the infrared signal for the liquidcrystal shutter control sent from the television. USB terminal When charging the battery, connect to the TV with the battery charge cable. DC IN To set the 3D glasses: 1 When you use for the first time, peel off the protective films from the lenses. 2 Turn the 3D glasses on with the power switch. Peel off Note: If the infrared data communication between the television and 3D glasses is lost for 5 minutes, the 3D glasses turn off automatically to preserve battery life. To charge the battery: If the 3D glasses are turned on while the battery power is low, the power light will blink 5 times. (If the battery is dead, the power light will not blink or light.) 1 Turn the 3D glasses off with the power switch, and connect to the TV with the battery charge cable. Note: • If the 3D glasses are turned on, the battery will not charge. • When the TV is turned off or in standby mode, the battery will be not charged. • Using a USB cable other than the battery charge cable is not covered under warranty. 2 The power light will light up. 3 When the light goes out, the charging is completed. Note: It takes approximately 2 hours to charge the battery. Chapter 6: Basic features
Using the 3D glasses
Each part's name and function:
To set the 3D glasses:

When you use for the first time,
peel off the protective films
from the lenses.

Turn the 3D glasses on with the
power switch.
Note:
If the infrared data communication between the
television and 3D glasses is lost for 5 minutes, the 3D
glasses turn off automatically to preserve battery life.
To charge the battery:
If the 3D glasses are turned on while the battery power
is low, the power light will blink 5 times. (If the battery
is dead, the power light will not blink or light.)

Turn the 3D glasses off with the power switch, and
connect to the TV with the battery charge cable.
Note:
If the 3D glasses are turned on, the battery will not
charge.
When the TV is turned off or in standby mode, the
battery will be not charged.
