66 Getting Started Devices for office computing ❖ If you have the LCD power-saver feature set, the LCD panel will automatically turn off until you open it again. ❖ If you have the audible warning set, the computer will beep to notify you that it is still on. ❖ If you have an action feature set, the computer will perform either: Nothing, Standby, Hibernate, or Turn Off (see "Setting user passwords" on page 155). Devices for office computing By connecting optional devices such as an external monitor, a full-size keyboard, and a mouse, you can work with your notebook as if it were a standard office computer. You can connect any of these optional devices: ❖ Expansion memory modules ❖ Standard 101-key keyboard ❖ Mouse or trackball ❖ Printer ❖ PC Cards Some of these are Toshiba devices, others are standard computer components. The devices manufactured by Toshiba can be purchased through Toshiba's Web site at accessories.toshiba.com.
