About XG The EL-700/500 allows you to play back the commercially available XG song data using the M.D.R. Also, the XG Easy Convertor function of the EL-700/500 lets you convert the data created with the EL-700/500 to the XG compatible data. Playing back the XG Song Data This function is for playback only. You can practice a specific part of the XG song data by muting that part. To play back XG song data: 1. Insert the XG song disk into the floppy disk slot. The following display appears. 1 Selects a song. 2 Selects a part. Range: 1 - 16, ALL (all parts) 2-1 Moves the cursor one step to the left. 2-2 Moves the cursor one step to the right. 1 345 2-1 2 2-2 3 SOLO: Brings the part at the current cursor position to solo playback status. 7 The solo playback part is indicated by a square ( ). All other parts will be Music Disk Recorder [XG] page will be added to the upper right side of the display. The XG song data will be displayed on the XG page.
