8 Other Functions 1) Custom Play If you want to play back the song without resetting the registrations and other data, press the CUSTOM PLAY button. This displays the song time and starts playback immediately. Press Ó to advance to a later point in the song or press ˝ to return to an earlier position. While either of these buttons is held down, playback stops and the song time is advanced or reversed accordingly. Hold down the button until the desired song time is shown. When the button is released, playback is paused. To resume playback from the point you've advanced or reversed to, press the PLAY button. 3) Pause
If you want to temporarily stop playback of the song or songs,
press the PAUSE button.
To resume playback from the point at
which the song was paused, press the PAUSE button again.
4) Fast Forward and Fast Reverse
During playback, these buttons function as fast forward and fast
reverse buttons, much like those of a tape recorder.

an earlier position.
While either of these buttons is held down,
playback stops and the song time is advanced or reversed
accordingly.
Hold down the button until the desired song time
is shown.
When the button is released, playback is paused.
