Notes • In the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amount of power in order to receive infrared signals from the remote control. • When you turn on this unit, there will be a 4 to 5-second delay before this unit can reproduce sound. • This button is operational only when MASTER ON/OFF is pressed inward to the ON position. 3 INPUT selector Selects the desired input source (see page 40). 4 AUDIO SELECT Toggles the priority for the type of audio input jack between "AUTO", "HDMI", "COAX/OPT" and "ANALOG" when one component is connected to two or more input jacks (see page 42). 5 TONE CONTROL Adjusts the bass/treble balance of the front left, front right and center channels in conjunction with the PROGRAM selector (see page 52). 6 REC OUT/ZONE2 Selects the input source you want to direct to the audio/ video recorder and Zone 2 outputs independently of the input source you are listening to or watching in the main zone (see page 83). 7 STRAIGHT Turns the sound field programs off or on. When the "STRAIGHT" mode is selected, 2-channel or multichannel input signals are output directly from their respective speakers without effect processing (see page 51). 6 En

MASTER ON/OFF
Turns this unit on or off (see page 34).

MAIN ZONE ON/OFF
Turns on the main zone or sets it to the standby mode
(see page 34).

INPUT selector
