■ Auto-adjusting Dolby Digital and DTS dynamic range Dynamic Range Selects the dynamic range adjustment method for audio bitstream (Dolby Digital and DTS) signal playback. Min/Auto STD Max (Default) (Min) Sets the dynamic range suitable for low volume or a quiet environment, such as at night, for bitstream signals except for Dolby TrueHD signals. (Auto) Adjusts the dynamic range for Dolby TrueHD signals based on input signal information. Adjusts the dynamic range for optimum volume for regular home use. Produces audio without adjusting the dynamic range. ■ Setting the maximum volume Max Volume Sets a maximum volume level so that the audio is not played too loudly. The default setting of +16.5 dB produces the highest volume. Adjustable range -30.0 dB to +15.0 dB / +16.5 dB (Maximum volume) Default setting +16.5 dB Adjustment increments 5.0 dB ■ Setting the startup volume Init.Volume Sets the initial volume for when this receiver is turned on. When this parameter is set to "Off," the volume is set at the level when the receiver last entered standby mode. Aspect J3 Sets the horizontal-to-vertical ratio (aspect ratio) of video signals converted from analog to HDMI. Auto-adjusting Dolby Digital and DTS
dynamic range
Selects the dynamic range adjustment method for audio bitstream
(Dolby Digital and DTS) signal playback.
Setting the maximum volume
Sets a maximum volume level so that the audio is not played too
loudly. The default setting of +16.5 dB produces the highest
volume.
Setting the startup volume
Sets the initial volume for when this receiver is turned on. When
this parameter is set to “Off,” the volume is set at the level when the
receiver last entered standby mode.
