Charging System Indicator Light The charging system indicator light will come on briefly when you turn on the ignition, but the engine is not running. The light will go out when the engine is stated. Brake System Warning Light Your Pontiac's hydraulicbrake system is divided into two parts. If one part isn't working, other part can the still work and stop you.
