PREV (1):Press PREV or the SEEK down arrow to searchfor theprevious selection. A minimum three-second blank gap is needed the player to stop for at the beginning of the selection. The tape direction arrow will blinkduring the SEEK operation and the sound will mute in mode. this NEXT (2): Press NEXT or the SEEK up arrow to search for the next selection. The double-D symbol will appear on the display. PROG: Press this button on the remote cassette player to go from one side of the tape tothe other. CD/PLAY: After a cassette tape and a CD have been inserted, press the CD/PLAY button toswitch between the CD player and the cassette tape player. Bothfeatures cannot be played at the same time. EJECT Press this button on theremote cassette player to remove thetape. EJECT can be used with either the ignition or radio off. Also, you mustpress EJECT before loading a cassette with the radio off to allow loading. If you leave a cassette tape inthe player while listening to the radio, it may become warm. REV ( ) Press this button to rapidly reverse the tape. 5: The tape will rapidly reverse to the beginning of the cassette reel or until youpress REV again. Use the SEEK buttonor the TUNEknob to play theradio during REV. The radio plays the last selected station. FWD (6): Press this button torapidly advance the tape. The tape will rapidly advance the endof the cassette to reel or until youpress FWD again. Use SEEK button the or the TUNE knob to play radio during FWD. The the radio plays the selected station. last CLN: If this message appears on the display, the cassette tape player needs to be cleaned. It will still play tapes, but you shouldclean it as soon as possible to prevent damage to the tapesand player. See "Care of Your Cassette Tape Player'' in the Index. After you clean the player, press and hold EJECT fiveseconds to for reset the CLN indicator.The radio will display --- to show the indicator was reset. 3-20
