How to Add Coolant to the Radiator (VS Engine Only) NOTICE: The LS1 Engine (CodeG) has a specific radiator fill procedure. You can remove the radiator pressure when the cap cooling system, including radiator pressurecap the and upper radiator hose, is longer hot. Turn the no pressure cap slowly to the left (counterclockwise) until it f i s t stops. (Don't press down while turning the pressure cap.) If you hear a hiss, wait that to stop.
