Battery Replacement Under normal use, the battery your remote keyless in entry transmitter should lastabout two years. NOTICE: When replacing the battery, use care not to touch any of the circuitry. Carefully pry o f the cover by inserting a dime f (or similar object) in the slot between covers the and twist. 2. Lift off the back cover. 3. Remove and replace the battery. Use one battery, type CR2032, or a similar type. Put new battery the in printed side down. 4. Replace the back cover. Make sure the cover is on tightly so water won't get in. You can tellthe battery is weak if the transmitter won't work at the normal range in any location. If you have to get close to your vehicle before the transmitter works, it's probablytime to change the battery. Use one battery, typeCR2032, or a similar type. 5.
